When the site publishes deadlines, each one carries the information you need to judge it:

  • Academic year: for example, 2027–28
  • Type: for example, FAFSA, college, or scholarship
  • State or institution it applies to
  • Source: the publisher that set the deadline
  • Source URL: the official page
  • Last verified: when we last checked it against the source

The organizations that set deadlines are the authorities. StudentAidTracker is never the authoritative source for a deadline. Anything missing, stale, or unconfirmed is labeled UNVERIFIED.
